This was for my daughter’s 5th birthday. It was all about the Enchanted forest meets fairy land for a beautiful birthday party at home.
Invitations / Decorations
I used a simple invitation that included a tree and forest animals. The decorations included garland that I made with green ribbon and white flowers hot glued together. The center piece on the table was a forest scape with potted plants and flowers that were arranged on a moss table runner.
The potted plants were wrapped with a green gauze ribbon to pull it together. Fairy style miniatures were placed at the base of the runner around the potted plants. The garland was hung around the chandelier.
Party Favors / Activities
For the party favors I created a simple look by stamping a baby bird on the front of the bag and wrote the names of each child attending in a nice script. The bags were tied off with some of the green gauze ribbon and filled with small candies and treats.
For the activity we had bowls of beads and strings for everyone to create a magical necklace or bracelet to take home as part of their party favor.
Food / Beverages
Food included heart shaped sandwiches of Peanut Butter & Jelly, American Cheese with Mayo, and Chicken Salad
I made blueberry muffins in the shape of flowers and butterflies.
Fruit on silver trays along with mixed snacks.
Beverages included different types of Italian Sodas along with punch for the children.
The cake was made to look like a magical forest with a white unicorn topper.
