Livorno is a port city on the Tyrrhenian Sea at the western edge of Tuscany, Italy.
This is where the Pacini family name is from. We only had a couple of hours to take in some sights and have lunch.
Once we arrived in town we headed straight to the market. Actually, John accidentally drove straight into the market so we kind-of landed there with a bit of a fiasco but that is very Pacini of him so it fit.
The kids and I were amused at the market. The cases were filled with all types of fish and other interesting looking creatures.
We walked around the Piazza della Repubblica where you will find Monuments of Ferdinando III and Leopoldo II.
After all of our exploring we needed food and we found a great restaurant with really good seafood! They had the best calamari and of course I am exploring calamari steaks for conquering intimidating dishes.
